ASC - Introduction To Astronomy Course, 2011

Will be running an Introduction to Astronomy Course for those in High School or older.

The course will consist of five classes plus an observing night.

All classes will start at 5:30 pm and last for about an hour.

The observing night will be in town and commence at a time to be announced at the course.

The location of the classes will be at the Coonabarabran CTC at 71 John Street.

The cost of the course is $90 and will include printed notes.

Wed. 18 May - Our Place in the Universe
Wed. 25 May - Telescopes
Wed. 1 June - Radio Astronomy
Wed. 8 June - Getting to Know the Sky - 10 brightest stars
Wed. 15 June - Connecting the Dots
Sat. 18 June - Putting it Into Practice - Observing Night
