Comet C2006/P1 (Comet McNaught)

A photograph of Comet McNaught taken from Coonabarabran on 20 January 2007. This LRGB photograph was taken with a 35 mm Nikon lens attached to a SBIG ST-8E NAGB CCD camera with a CFW-8 filter wheel, mounted on a fixed tripod and processed with Maxim DL and Adobe Photoshop. The exposure times were 20 seconds with clear, red and green filters and 32 seconds with a blue filter. The field of view is 20.75 x 13.8 degrees.
